I really do not have a major goal for the summer. One goal of mine is to catch a lot of fish when I go to Canada this Saturday, May 31st, through June 8th. We are going to three lakes: Dore Lake, Keely Lake, and Canoe Lake. They all have an assortment of pike, walleye, and lake trout. I will get up at about six every morning and go to the shore side and cast out a line. When we go out on our boat, I will be the first one to cast into the water. I will also get the first fish of the week. That is my most important goal for this summer.

Respond to Papers
Mrs. Giles, you commented on my Science Paper. The first comment was about how you liked my title page, parenthetical citations, works cited page, and that the paper was well written. The second comment was about a phrase that did not flow well together. The third comment was if this one large paragraph was all from the same source. The paragraph was all from the same source. The fourth comment was about how I needed a stronger conclusion to end the paper. The fifth comment was about how I only used three sources. I reviewed my paper and found I did use all five of my sources.
You also commented on my MLK paper. The first comment was about how I did not have a title page or header. The second comment was about how I started eight sentences with "he".

Pros/cons of class format
The class format for language arts is good. There are good and bad things about it. Some good things are center groups. They give us a chance to get used to working with other people. Another good thing is the homework is not really hard. This gives us a chance to get other work done from other classes. There are also bad things about the class format. One is also center groups. Sometimes only one person does all the work. Such as my group last quarter. I was the only one who did anything. Another bad thing is the portfolio. I just do not see how and when we will use this in the future. I can only see reviews and book reports. Book chats and all the other stuff we need to do does not make any sense to me. Those are pros and cons of the class format.

How to Ride a Bike
Riding a bike is a major milestone for most young children. The step from a tricycle to a bike with training wheels than from that to a bike without training wheels is huge. In order to ride a bike, you have to know how to do it first. The first step is to acquire a bike from a store that sells them. Second purchase a helmet, shoulder pads, and knee pads. Then, put training wheels on the bike and ride around for about an hour or two. Next take off the training wheels. This will be the hardest step to adjust to because there will be no wheels to help support the bike and keep it balanced. After you get used to riding on two wheels, you can pick up speed and ride around town. Now you are ready to be in the realm of bike riding.
