Pacifist

Martin Luther King Junior was someone who believed in protesting in a non-violent way. He is known as a pacifist. They do not believe in violence at all. Violence is good and bad. There are cases when violence is good, such as when we are at war. Violence is bad at places like schools and public buildings. Personally, I am in between. I am not a strict pacifist, but I am kind of one, too. One way violence was not good in war was during the Korean War. General Douglas MacArthur wanted to attack North Korea. He believed violence was the key to stopping the war. MacArthur was relieved of his position. The war ended soon after. He was a good example of how violence is not good in times of war. It is hard to be a soldier and be a pacifist. Martin Luther King Junior was a very inspirational man, and I hope he has a good birthday. Even though he can't celebrate it.
